Old/new DWZ converter

DWZ is the German chess rating system. In July 2026, the German Chess Federation (DSB) raised lower DWZ ratings to correct ratings that had drifted too low over time and reduce the gap with FIDE Elo following its 2024 increase.

The increase was largest for low ratings and tapered off towards 2110; higher ratings stayed unchanged. This tool converts between the old and new scales so you can compare ratings from before and after the adjustment.
